Two ProvenGK gloves, one palm. If you're deciding between the Enduran (£64.95, launching 1 October 2026) and the Durashield 2.0 (£49.95), this is the honest version of the comparison, written by the person who designed both.
The short answer
- Buy the Durashield 2.0 if you want the proven astro/3G glove at the lower price, you're happy with whole sizes, or you want the customisable wrist strap.
- Buy the Enduran if fit is your priority (half sizes, knitted backhand, double wrap strap) and you'll pay £15 more for it.
The grip is the same. You are not paying extra for better latex. You are paying for fit and wrist lockdown.

What's actually the same
The palm and the cut. Both gloves use 4mm contact latex in a negative cut with no finger spines. That combination is what ProvenGK customers told us they trusted, so the Enduran kept it rather than changing it for the sake of a new launch. If you already like how the Durashield 2.0 grips and wears on 3G, the Enduran will feel familiar in the hand.
What's different, and whether it matters to you
Backhand. The Durashield 2.0 uses neoprene. The Enduran uses a knitted backhand, which is lighter and more flexible and breathes better through a long session. If you play twice a week on a hot pitch, you'll notice it. If you play once a week in November, you probably won't.
Wrist strap. This is the biggest change. The Durashield 2.0 has a single elastic strap. The Enduran wraps twice: the first half is elastic to pull the glove snug, the second half is latex so the strap has something to bite into when you tighten it. In our customer survey the wrist strap came up repeatedly as the thing most gloves get wrong. If your gloves rotate or loosen mid-game, the Enduran fixes that. If yours don't, it's a nice-to-have.
Sizing. The Enduran is the first ProvenGK glove in half sizes. A negative cut only works if the fit is right, and a lot of keepers sit between whole sizes. If you've ever bought a 9 that felt tight and a 10 that felt loose, the Enduran is the answer. The Durashield 2.0 goes down to size 4, so for juniors it's the only option of the two.
Customisation. Only the Durashield 2.0 supports printed wrist strap customisation. The Enduran does not, and won't at launch.
Which one for astro and 3G?
Either. Same latex, same cut, same wear characteristics on artificial surfaces. The Durashield 2.0 has two seasons of miles on it in the hands of our customers, so if you want the one with the track record, that's it. The Enduran will wear the same way because the palm is the same.
Whichever you pick: wash after every session and dampen the palms before you play. Latex on any glove wears faster on 3G than on grass.
Who is the Enduran not for?
- Juniors below size 7
- Anyone who wants a roomy fit. The negative cut is snug by design
- Anyone who wants strap customisation
- Anyone who's already happy with the Durashield 2.0 and doesn't have a wrist strap or sizing complaint. Keep your £15
